Virtual Electrophoresis

Parameters
Virtual electrophoresis is a program that simulates DNA electrophoresis on Elchrom Scientific gels. With the help of this program it is possible to find the optimal gel for the given fragments, and thus save time on optimization. After typing in the lengths of the DNA fragments to be separated, the program will give the picture showing the result. The running time, voltage and temperature are indicated.
The picture shows the result using maximal gel length (87mm).
Our ElQuant™ program can be used to find the running conditions for different formats of the gels. There are 8 different formats available of every gel type.
